Roda JC and Fortuna Sittard will merge

While not the final piece of repercussions of the financial fallout in the Eredivisie, the must rumoured merger of Fortuna Sittard and Roda JC has been confirmed.
The new club will play as of next season out of Roda’s Parkstad stadium in Kerkrade, with Fortuna Stadion used as a youth training centre.
