Ajax on Sunday
By: j | November 14th, 2008Ahead of the Ajax clash on Sunday, Hubb Stevens commented of the AZ fallout:
“We were always in control and created a few chances, but lacked cutting edge up front. We were not pleased with the result, but we will take the positives from every game. The players reacted positively on the pitch. We provided tough opposition against AZ and left Alkmaar with our heads held high.”
While I’m not so sure when PSV reacted positively I’ll let that one slide as a publicity statement.
PSV has a number of injury concerns with Jan Kromkamp, Ibrahim Afellay, Otman Bakkal and Jérémie Bréchet all facing match fitness tests on Saturday.
I will update prior to the match with results of these tests and possible lineup.
