PSV welcome Ola Toivoinen
By: j | January 15th, 2009In a brilliant tactical strike, PSV has brought in Ola Toivonen from Malmö FF of Sweden’s Allsvenskan for a fee of €4.2m. The versatile midfielder / striker is known for his attacking flourish and after signing a contract that will see him through the summer of 2012, he
will feature immediately in Hubb Stevens lineup.
In response to joining PSV, the twenty-two year-old Swedish international said:
“I’m very happy to be here and I think the Dutch league will suit my style.
“PSV are a great club. The fans want us to get silverware and I feel the same as the fans. I am a genuine team player and like to be involved in the passing game.
“In the Netherlands I will be able to take the next important step in my career. PSV are a team with lots of qualities. I hope I can add something extra, but I am above all a team player.”
