ready for Olympique Marseille
By: j | October 21st, 2008Heading into tonights Champions League match against Olympique Marseille, Huub Stevens notes with the exception of Jan Kromkamp, Mike Zonneveld, and Reimond Manco the squad is fully fit. Given recent performance problems both domestically and in the Champions League, affairs around the club are on a edge with practices held behind closed doors. Long time PSV man and present-day Marseille manager, Eric Gerets has noted his club is without injuries on their trip to Eindhoven. Marseille has yet to lose a match in domestic competition this year although they have been disappointed with 2-1 losses to both Liverpool and Atlético Madrid.
With both clubs yet to earn a point in two matches they will be both driving hard for the victory to not only keep their slim hopes of advancing to the knockout round alive but equally managing a third-place guarantee into the UEFA Cup.
I will report on the match as it concludes.

Great win to ensure that uefa spot, unless you can beat atletico next time. Doubtful on that, but nice away win today. good to see eredivisie take out a ligue 1 team
