recap of yesterdays practice
By: j | July 17th, 2008Hopefully you’re catching these practices online because they are a real treat to watch. Practices are at 10am and 2:30pm local time and can be viewed on two cameras live (1 and 2).
Todays afternoon practice was significantly more spirited, marked with fluid passing and more aggressive play. While contesting balls and tackling was naturally at a minimum, movement looked extremely crisp and pushing forward at all times. Defensively, I was pleased to see El Maza adapting and communicating well within the squad.
This weekend the pre-season friendlies begin on Sunday with a run-out against local amateurs, VV Gestel. It should be great deal of fun, with a heavy emphasis on good community relations.
