so are you listening now?

PSV’s three-pronged attack of Danny Koevermans with Balázs Dzsudzák on his left with Danko Lazovic on the right moved well today as the squad eased to a 5-1 victory of SV Vaassen before the match as called due to heavy rain at the seventy-fifth minute. Scoring was evenly spaced between Mike Zonneveld, Mika Väyrynen, Danko Lazovic, Danny Koevermans and Ibrahim Afellay.

SV Vaassen put forth a noble performance, even bringing the match to even 1-1 by the nineteenth minute and should be commended for the day. However what was obvious is that the drain of camp, that has stressed fitness, has been quite fatiguing and pace was a bit subdued. More alarming and of great concern was Danny Koevermans leaving the match at the sixty-fourth minute with a hamstring issue. As I warned yesterday, this team is suffering for repetitive stress issues and avoidable injuries are starting to occur. Danny’s situation needs to be reviewed with extreme care and properly dealt with before this issue grows. Furthermore the cause as it relates to team-wide problems need to be dealt with long-term. The team has scheduled a complete rest day tomorrow before heading back to work on Monday in De Herdgang.
